Our Peak2Peak Mountain Festival, happening October 17-19, 2014, joins first-class mountain bike racing, great food, drinks and entertainment for a weekend of outdoor fun, music and competition surrounded by the autumn colors of northern Michigan. Admission to the festival is free.

Saturday, October 18

9th Annual Peak2Peak Mountain Bike Classic

9:30am-12:30pm, base of Crystal Clipper chairlift
The 9th Annual Peak2Peak Mountain Bike Classic is held in and around the beautiful, gently rolling terrain surrounding Crystal Mountain. The race starts and finishes near the base of the front-side slopes. Riders journey through hardwood and pine forests along rambling two-tracks and flowing single-track on a course that is fast and challenging, but not so difficult that racers new to the sport won’t have a great time.

Tour de Tykes Bike Race

The annual Tour de Tykes Bike Race is fun for kids ages 12 and under. Crystal will also offer the Tour de Tiny Tykes, for ages 6 and under. All participants receive medals and are sure to have a great time!

Crystal Trifecta Downhill Mountain Bike Race Series

4pm, Downhill Mountain Bike Course
Join the Crystal Trifecta Downhill Mountain Bike Race Series, sponsored by Corepower. This is the final race in our three-race downhill series and will determine the overall fastest racers on the mountain. But if you missed the first two races, you can still register to race. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers per race, in addition to the top three racers overall in the series.

Crystal Cross Bike Race

10am
The Crystal Cross is a cyclocross event with sand, dirt, grass and pavement making a variety of conditions for riders to conquer. If that isn’t enough, racers will have obstacles to climb and run over along the way. This eventful race is fun to ride and watch.
