The Lighthouse Half Marathon – Old Mission Peninsula – October 12, 2014
The TCTC Lighthouse Half is a very scenic course taking place at the peak of the fall color season with varied terrain. The start is at the Traverse City Old Mission Lighthouse where both Grand Traverse Bays meet.
You will be greeted with the shores of West Grand Traverse Bay on your right hand side and to your left will be a myriad of fall colors. During the 3 mile trail section will be one of the best color tours you can take.
At the peak of the course around 10 miles in you will want to look to the West and take in the fall colors with the West Grand Traverse Bay as a backdrop, you would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful fall scene.
